Quick tips for whiter teeth

I thought I'd share a couple of tips with you =) I don't use whitening strips or anything like that, I mostly just use weird things I have in my kitchen... XD

I brush my teeth every morning with a gentle whitening toothpaste. Every second day, at night I'll mix salt and baking soda, get water on my toothbrush and dip it in the mixture. This will damage your teeth if you do it often, wich is why I only do it every second day, it have really made my teeth whiter. Another trick I use is to rub the inside of a bannana peel against my teeth in circular motions. This sounds really weird but I saw results In only two weeks!

I hope You enjoyed these quick, Little, weird tips=)

guest blogging DIY ring

Hey lovely ladies! Today, I’ve prepped a quick tutorial for a DIY ring. I’ve named it the basket weave or Wheaties (the cereal) ring, because of how it looks. It is time consuming, and can be frustrating (trust me) but if you are an avid jewelry collector or crafts enthusiast, I think that this will pique your interest.

What you’ll need:

  • Wire- I used 22 gauge. For this project, you should go with a larger gauge because it’ll be easy to work. And for those who don’t know. As the gauge numbers get larger, the wire becomes thinner. You can pick this up at AC Moore for only 5 dollars for 10 meters. You need less than one for this project. I think.

  • Wire Cutters/Pliers- They sell a 3 in 1, wire cutter/Pliers/ something else at AC Moore.

Instructions-

    1. Firstly, make three rings that are a bit large for your finger.

Since we’ll be attaching more wire around the rings, they’ll become smaller, naturally.

    2. Now, take a bit of excess wire and tie the three rings together at one end. Splay the other ends out so it looks like this.

    3. This is the really difficult part. Take a small bit of wire. Like 5 inches small. You don’t want to work with too much at once. Now, start weaving the wire in the ring. Don’t worry about tying off ends b/c if you kinda just bend the ends a bit, they will stay. Don’t worry if it’s not flat or even or even close to each other. Use the pliers to bend and control it into shape. Here’s what mine looks like right now. It’s mostly trial and error.

    4. Finish it off and the more imperfect, the better. If you want to be really creative, make the ring base one color and the weave another.

- I hope that you ladies liked my quick tut. Toodles for now!

Cartoon tag!

Yay, I've seen a couple of people do this before but i totally forgot about it. Then the other day, this girl http://missKC027.blogspot.com/ made a post doing this, so yeah... It's basically just telling your favorite cartoons as a kid =)Power-puff girls!
I remember this being my favorite show in the world, for a long time! And with the characters: Bubbles, Blossom and buttercup fighting against evilness, this show rocked! I think my favorite character was Bubbles because she was so incredibly cute, even though she cried all the time lol. But mostly because blue was my favorite color at the time, and we all know how much colors affect us as children, or is it just me who picked favorite characters by colors?
Ha ha, I remember this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpXdVwzwOgU
When i watch cartoons with my 3 year old cousins, i can't help think of how the old shows was so much better than the new ones! But maybe thats just because i saw it differently as a kid =)

Talespin
Talespin was about some of the characters from the movie: The junglebook, going on big adventures all the time. It was about Baloo the bear, who was a pilot and he's family and friends, I loved this show for some time!
The Magic school bus:
Haha this show was so obviously tricking little kids into learning, but i liked it anyway=)

I tag everyone who wanna do it, but I specifically tag...
Sylvia
Hannah

perfume obsessions

This is my newest perfume obsessions... I have a lot of perfumes on my wishlist, but these are the ones on the top!

First is Ralph Lauren: Romance, i've been wanting to include this in my collection for the longest time! Wich is why i know i'm finally getting it! I'm actually ordering it of nordstrom right now.
The scent is very romantic as the name might have told you. It's mature but not too much, it's modern, sweet, playful and musky, wich i like cause i'm a little tired of all my floral scents.
First time i smelled this was in a teen vogue magazine, then i went to the store and smelled it, i did'nt buy it, have no idea why cause i loved it. Then i smelled it in a Lucky magazine from November or something, and now i'm finally buying it! I know, i'm very weird...
The scent would be nice for a date or for going out to dinner or something.

Second perfume is by Marc Jacobs: In the air, I've been wanting this for a couple of months now, and i'm ordering it of Nordstrom along with the ralph lauren perfume and a few other marc jacobs goodies, and of course i just could'nt stay away from MAC...
The scent is very clean, fresh, floral and springtime/summertime. But it's not too floral for me. It reminds me a little bit of DKNY be delicious pop art, wich i love and wear a whole lot! The scent is something you could wear at pretty much any occation.

update:planning London, and thank you! =)

Hey this is just gonna be a quick update, a thankyou and about London, enjoy=)
I'm gonna leave for London in the beginning of july, so i'm starting to plan my trip. I am one of those persons who love planning vacations, and i do way too much research, but i love doing that...
Yesterday i found a great website with every store on every street in London. It's actually pretty cool. Check it out here.
I'm really excited about paying a visit to especially boots and topshop, and i'm definitely not gonna leave empty handed! I talked to a girl named Lauren yesterday, and she really wanted me to write about each day in London, so i might do that, maybe there'll be a couple of tips for those of you who are going to London.
Wow i've been drinking a crazy ammount of cofee lately! Good thing they have starbucks in London, cause if not, i don't know if i would be able to survive!...

Thanyou so much to all of my new followers, i did not think that i would get so many in 3 days! I truly appreciate it!
And i welcome all new followers very warmly, haha=)
